Interpretative landscapes awash in vibrant colors are the centerpiece for Leslie Jorgensen's latest exhibition, COLORado, showing now at Portfolio Gallery. COLORado has been extended now through February 26, 2022.
"I love taking road trips and I always feel a tinge of excitement when I see a state border sign. My favorite sign every time is “Welcome to Colorful Colorado”. It’s my home and my favorite state. It gets me right at the heart. And it captures the essence of my paintings.
My new solo exhibit at Portfolio Gallery aligns well with that sentiment too. The paintings are about the Colorado landscape and the ways we experience it as seen through my color lens. My hope is that you’ll see what’s special about Colorado the way I do."
