Patti began painting as a means of surrounding herself with oil paintings. After receiving her BFA, she began a seemingly endless quest to create art that forms a connection. Drawing became a foundation and her daily passion, while oil painting and relief printmaking became studio practices. Patti works in a variety of mediums including drawing, oil, gouache, and printmaking.
